Happy Father's Day from Fort Collins

Happy Father's Day to all - especially to Max and Mark our blogging buddies and to Chris and Wade Daniel our sons who are both first time fathers this year. You guys are going to be great Dad's to Javier and Juliet.

We spent today at a local park in Fort Collins. This city is the most people friendly city in the world with great parks and other family friendly amenities. Betty and I along with Wade Daniel, Marie, and Juliet joined Marie's sister, Melissa, her husband, Nick, and their two children, Maggie and Kaley at the park. We were also joined by Marie's parents, Nancy Jo and Gary, who drove up from Denver.

We had fried chicken, potato salad and fruit salad - all the great picnic fixings. For dessert Betty fixed a couple of chocolate pies which are delicious.

It was a great day and a great way to spend Father's Day.
