A Day at Trails End

We call our place 'Trails End' because, unless God has other ideas, we expect this to be the place where we will live until we die. Our home has everything we have always wanted and we're very happy here.

Here are a few things that happened around here today.

First, a cricket (I guess it's a cricket - I'm not a bug expert) decided to visit one of our sage plants in our courtyard. This is the first time we have seen one of these.

Morgunn decided to take a nap with the entrance to their stalls as a pillow while Gletta scratches an itch in her neck.

A quail took a quick dash across the paddock while Morgunn was sleeping and Gletta was scratching.

Our 18 year old cat, Sarah, having an afternoon snack on the kitchen table. Given her age, we try to make it easy for her to eat or drink at any time throughout the house.

It appears that her afternoon snack was lip-smacking good.

Another exciting day at Trails End.

Today is July 31 and if today is your Birthday then you share your day with: Dean Cain (actor - "Superman"), J. K. Rowling (author - "Harry Potter"), Wesley Snipes (actor - "Blade"), Bill Berry (drummer - band "R.E.M"), Barry Van Dyke (actor - "Diagnosis Murder" - son of Dick Van Dyke), Geraldine Chaplin (actress - "Dr. Zhivago" - daughter of Charlie Chaplin), Curt Gowdy (sports broadcaster), Milton Friedman (economist), Ted Cassidy (actor - Lurch in "The Adams Family"), and Maximilian II (Emperor of Germany).

Love the photos! But tell me -- do horses lay down often?

Sarah has AMAZING eyes! It's as if she's wearing exotic make-up.

I love that picture of Morgunn napping. hehe

And one of my favorite birds are quail. You captured that quick moving bird really well.

And I think that green creature is actually a grasshopper. They are very devastating to plants. They eat anything.

could I want to suggest you some fascinating things or tips.
Perhaps you could write subsequent articles referring to this article.
I want to read more issues approximately it!
